A Graphic Designer by trade, Justine brings the creative aspect to the team. She has begun building her business portfolio with Nik Ellis and these two together are electric. Justine has learnt first-hand the trials and tribulations within business and currently runs 4 businesses with her main one being a Digital Marketing Agency. Her experience within marketing is helping push the new brand and Radio station into its own and she is always looking for ways to showcase the sponsors and partners during the growth of Radio Wirral. She is ambitious and proactive and loves a good event! Justine is extremely excited to start the event side of the station and work with businesses and community groups to ensure the best coverage across a variety of platforms because she genuinely cares about making the most out of every opportunity, not only for the station but every person involved on the journey!
Tom has spent his career managing local radio stations across the UK, he has radio running through his veins and his passion for everything about the Industry is infectious. His experience includes running Radio City, Key 103 and Rock FM in the North West. He is very excited to be part of the team at Radio Wirral and his key role will be to create the opportunities for businesses and people alike, from old and young. Tom will be your point of contact for all things sponsorship but keep your eyes peeled for some new developments within his role as he is FULL of ideas, a passion for education and mentoring up and coming talent will soon develop into new opportunities within the station. Tom looks forward to helping create a new generation local radio station for the people of the Wirral.
Nik, Radio Wirral’s very own Entrepreneur. From establishing one of the biggest expert witness companies in the UK to launching a plethora of businesses Nationwide Nik’s experience within business stretches from businesses with between 1 – 50 staff, from setting up a business, right through to marketing multi million pound businesses. His experience is essential in the development of the project. With first-hand experience Nik has been there and done that and has an endless book of contacts to prove that. Nik also works on a voluntary basis with the Liverpool Enterprise Partnership and really keen to introduce digital and tech into education from a young age. Radio Wirral is a project he is extremely passionate about as he sees the need for a platform for businesses locally to shout about not only what they do as a business but for all they do locally for local people, people of The Wirral.
Peter has extensive experience in target setting and monitoring progress, and wherever he has worked he has implemented interventions that have driven up standards and progress. This is a key role in the development of Radio Wirral as we launch a plethora of amazing projects. Wearing Peter’s other hat, he is Director of Wirral Wrap, the only provider of Alternative Provision in Wirral and has the benefit of experience as a former Assistant Head teacher of secondary education at the forefront of its curriculum planning and delivery.
With 20 years in national and local radio broadcasting, Ian brings a wealth of industry experience. Ian’s brand of serious journalism stretches back over two decades and includes BBC 5 Live, Radio City, BBC Radio Merseyside and Wirral Radio with a small collection of major awards to his name. Ian has also been providing professional support to schools as a Governor and consultant for a decade and Director of Wirral WRAP something of which he is passionate about and one of the main reasons behind the importance of Education within the development of Radio Wirral.
Ian has also enjoyed a career in Public Relations as a consultant after two successful years as Head of Communications for Merseytravel.
Ian is also a partner in Wirral WRAP a school for students aged 11-16 that works to engage children back into mainstream education.

David has a lovely little (originally named) feature on his show called “The 5 Mystery Love Songs”. Every hour work out the classic love song from the clues and hear it played at the end of each hour.
I’ve been doing radio for some time, I started on hospital radio which I really enjoyed. I’m excited to be joining the Radio Wirral team. I am also doing a masters in international journalism at John Moores.
Tricia is an English actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Gina Ward in ITV1’s long-running 1960s drama Heartbeat, a role she played continuously for 17 years from 1993 to 2010. She has also appeared on The Royal, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Boon, Justice, Fort Boyard, The Bill and ‘Dancin’ Thru The Dark.
In January 2013 she also appeared as a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother. Tricia was evicted in a semi-final double eviction, alongside Frankie Dittori on Day 21.
Tricia has covered for Ian and Bev on Radio Wirral and said she is really looking forward to getting to work on her new show.
Hi my name is Tony Francis. I started out as a young 14 year old DJ in my youth club then went through the normal progression of mobile DJ then on to pub and nightclub residences and finally I became the outside broadcaster for a local radio station. I have an eclectic taste in music although I have to admit I do love Soul and Motown. I guess after all these years of playing music it’s in my DNA.
After hosting his own podcasts since the age of 14, Marc‘s affinity for music of all ages and genres is evident, and now he’s now joined Radio Wirral to share his passion with a wider community! Expect great music and fun aplenty in Marc’s weekday afternoon show from 2 – 7PM!

As for Beverley… she is best known for stacking shelves at Pound Paradise and operating Till One, where it’s one item or else. Bev can also be seen Moonlighting on TV as host of Crafty Beggars, as is famous for being blocked on Twitter by anyone C list celebrity of above.
The self professed pound shop princess, Bev always dreamed of working in a pound shop, her first words were in fact, thats a pound love’ Bev was given the job as traffic tart on Wirral radio ranting at drivers rubber necking during her traffic bulletins. Bev then went on to co- host the breakfast show for 4 years. Bev also appears on Sky TVs Crafty Beggars as well as having a show on MKFM in the South.
Sara has worked in broadcasting for a number of years.
Her claims to fame are being in the same lift as Olympian Rebecca Adlington and being in a play with Lee from Steps before he was in Steps!
You might not have seen Marie before but the chances are you have heard her, many times.
She’s been the voice of traffic and travel for over 15 years. Providing Traffic bulletins for every major commercial and BBC Radio station in the North West and around the country. She was part of BBC Radio Merseyside’s Drive programme for more than 10 years.
When she’s not behind a mic she’s probably wheeling and dealing up and down the country buying and selling her treasures at auction.
After DJing and performing across the region for nearly 20 years Gary made the switch to radio in 2016 at Liverpools online station Mersey Radio. He enjoyed it so much that he didn’t hesitate to join the Wirral Radio team for the launch of the peninsulas new station.

Jason is one of the UK’s most experienced radio broadcasters with 30 years working on Commercial and BBC Radio. He has a rich heritage in the North West of England having presented for Radio City, Radio Merseyside and Century FM, Manchester. He has a passion for mentoring young talent and at Radio Wirral he will pass on his experience and skills to the talent of the future.
Del’s background is flying around the world as crew for British Airways for 25 years. Del entered radio in 2009 as an international roving reporter for Dean Sullivan’s show on Citytalk. He then went on to do some special shows, including reporting on any airline related incident from a crew perspective.
